Hilltop Explorers (Afterschool Care)

Hilltop Explorers is an after-school care programme from 3-5pm.  It cost's only $5.00 per hour and is O.S.C.A.R. approved.  The programme is supervised by Kim Willcock and assisted by Rory O'Mahony.

Physical Activity is either outside or inside the library if the weather is bad.  Entails ball games, skipping, adventure playground, skateboarding, scooters.

Art - painting, drawing, clay/playdough, collage, colouring-in, photography, paper mache etc.

Music - playing instruments, singing, creating music on computer programmes, listening to music, Singstar.

Dance - Jump jam, hip-hop, creating dance, poi, rakau.

Cooking - baking, simple meals (pizza, baked potato etc).

Craft - "make and do" construction, card-making, jewellery making, diorama, picture frames, soap making, sewing, weaving, puppets, mobiles etc.
